*Time to get real. There really have been hits on the blog in 6 non Kansas-Missouri states and in Canada. However, the average time spent on the blog from the states is 1.75 seconds. The guy from Canada stayed for a minute. Not great, but you gotta start somewhere! If we keep getting followers like this, we’ll be syndicated in no time.
Due to the increased readership the blog will try to touch on a global topic today:
My Barber/Hair Stylist the Communist.

Vladimir, moved to the US from Russia when I was about 7 or 8 (at least that’s when he opened his barbershop/salon). That would have been early 90’s, let’s say 1992. According to a reputable news source, the Cold War “ended” in 1991. Vlad didn’t waste much time jumping over to our side of the fence.
You would think that someone who lived under Soviet oppression for most of his life, seemingly embraced capitalism (owns his barbershop/salon), has a wife and family, and is a professional ping pong player (seriously) would have embraced the USA, thrown his hammer and sickle to the curb, and understand how great he has it in the greatest country in the world.
But then he says something like this, “I think home prices should stay the same indefinitely. No profit, no loss. When you sell your home, you get what you paid for it.”
I calmly explained that his “utopia” didn’t take into account inflation, market demand, was basically against all that is right in this world. He flatly said, “You’re wrong” and went on to explain how homes are not like the stock market and will not “always go up in value” (where have you been the last two years Vlad?!?) and how homes are for “living, not making profit”.
In other words, everyone should be able to afford a home, no question. Owning a home is a "Right".
Next thing you know he’ll say that healthcare is a “right” and that there should be no profit in that either ....

Anyone know what .NET Framework is used for?
Windows 7 party tonight!
Chiefs 5 – Chargers 6
KU 31 – OU 28
Texas 60 – MU 15
First off, yes, I know what .NET Framework is used for.
ReplyDeleteSecond, it's high time that this blog went global. I can't wait to hear from your global fanbase and think the blog is headed in a great direction.
Keep up the great work.
Since Vlad is a communist, maybe you shouldn't support him anymore.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go out on a limb and say that "Anonymous" is either Kelly or my mom, each of whom have expressed displeasure with Vlad's cuts. Given this, I will do what I usually do with advice from these sources and ignore.
ReplyDeleteIf this is not Kelly or my Mom, I will say this to you: I am a capitalist and will pay for services that meet my demands. Vlad does this. His personal beliefs are irrelevant to my buying decision. I go to him for one reason, he gives the best haircut $20 can buy (and he gives me material for my blog!).
THANKS FOR READING!
